If you're looking for a beautiful and relaxing experience, I highly recommend Inn at Cliffhouse Tagaytay is the exact place to go. With its Taal Lake view and relaxing suite you might want to stay there for a long time and just stay on the room. I and my girlfriend stayed last November 29-30, 2015. Our experience was so great. From the romantic and relaxing ambiance of the room to the the breakfast which is so delicious. The manager (Jeff) and staff are very courteous. They attend immediately on what we need. We love the place a lot. Looking forward to our next stay.

I've had the pleasure of staying at several wonderful hotels/B&Bs in Tagaytay, but the Inn at the Cliffhouse stands out as the most memorable accommodation. It was incredible. I was traveling with my boyfriend, sister, & another friend and recommended Cliffhouse because of the stellar view, location, and proximity to restaurants within the courtyard. The view of Taal Lake and volcano is definitely Tagaytay's main attraction, but staying at Cliffhouse truly enhanced our experience. Even before our arrival, the manager Jeff was extremely friendly and helpful answering my many questions, booking an additional room, and arranging transportation around Tagaytay via our own private van & driver. (Btw, we live abroad and couldn't make the Inn's down payment via local Philippine bank deposit so we booked on Agoda which was very smooth) Jeff always responded in a timely manner and provided world-class assistance. Upon arrival, we were met by the Inn's professional, friendly staff led by Jeff. They provided excellent service and even booked us for in-room massages - which we booked again for the second night. The rooms were immaculate, spacious, very comfortable and even better than in the photos. The Cliffhouse is a premium boutique property with an incredible view & location thus we found the rates to be great value-for-money. It was worth every cent. We stayed in Minot's Ledge and Brant rooms which opened onto a huge terrace overlooking Lake Taal & Taal Volcano. We loved keeping the sliding doors open (but screens closed for critters) to let in the fresh mountain air. The jacuzzi that comes with Minot's Ledge was well-maintained and a nice treat. Jeff thoughtfully even had a bottle of champagne delivered to us after a wonderful day hiking Taal Volcano. (FYI - Definitely use the Taal Yacht Club if you want to hike the volcano! They are the best. No hassle & straightforward. We hiked the Secret Trail down to the crater. Highly recommended!! Check their website.) Every morning, we enjoyed a gourmet 4-course breakfast prepared & served by the wonderful Cliffhouse staff. What also makes Cliffhouse appealing is that it’s located in a small plaza with several nice restaurants - we especially loved the Fire Lake Grill. After a big day of exploring, we enjoyed the convenience of walking outside our door for nice dining options all with that spectacular view. I am very glad we choose Inn at the Cliffhouse for our Tagaytay stay. It's a beautiful property with a cozy atmosphere. We highly recommend it! Looking forward to our next stay. If you're looking for a perfect weekend getaway where you can have your own room with a private veranda overlooking the lake, then this is the place to be. The rooms are really huge, with very comfortable sofa and beds. It also comes equipped with a 50" television. The bonus is the private veranda with a "postcard" view of Taal Volcano where you can just lounge and relax. The manager and staff are very courteous and will attend to your needs from the time you arrive until your departure.

We have a complimentary night stay after our wedding on one of Cliffhouse's rooms. We stayed at Minet's Lodge. Since our wedding party ended around 8PM, I'm quite disappointed that we didn't have a chance to stay in this room for a longer time.

The room is very spacious. Ambience is romantic. Bed is fluffy and comfortable. Bathroom is also big and clean. There was a jacuzzi on the veranda that is already heated.

The best part of our stay is the breakfast. The food is superb. From the appetizer to the dessert, I would love to have them again. Burp!

I did need a conditioner since my hair is a mess due to the wedding hairstyle. However, we cannot find any stores near the place. Good thing the manager gave us what we needed for free.

While doing nothing, we decided to do a food trip on the shops around Cliffhouse.

Overall, I would like to go back at Inn at Cliffhouse for a longer period of time. Maybe on our next trip on Tagaytay, we will surely consider this hotel.

One of the best getaway to relax in Manila - a large private balcony and a outdoor jacuzzi overlooking Taal + 5-star comfy bed + living space with 55" TV. There are only 4 rooms so I get to enjoy the cool breeze of Tagaytay in peace and quiet. There are some great places to eat at the Cliffhouse courtyard so I do not have to drive out for dinner.
